1999-2000 Gifu-Ken Website

WORK IN PROGRESS!
This is my first web page, so this is always a work in progress!  Be patient as I learn how to make a website on a Japanese computer!

WELCOME!
This site was created to help people who are coming to teach and live in Gifu-ken (ken means prefecture).  Here you will
find information about Gifu-ken as well as ideas about how to prepare yourself before you get here.  Gifu-ken is an exciting
and interesting place where you will learn a lot about Japan, and if you are lucky about yourself!

THANKS & BEST WISHES!
Much of the information on this site is based on the Getting Into Gifu Guide that Megan Crouch, Taina Jantunen and Tamiko Nicholson put together in 1999.  We want to give a big thanks to all those who have helped us recently, and in years past, in collecting so much information. Thanks goes to Diane Wyllie, Stuart Tyler, Andrea Papirnik, Jayne Shewan,Chad Malone, Tamra Hayashida, Steph Ryan, Adria Lazur,  and the helpful staff at Ogaki Commercial High School.  A special thanks goes to Mr. Toida at the Gifu Prefectural Government Office!

Sincerely yours,

Tamiko Nicholson
